Single car MVA. Lost brakes and rolled into spillover creek.

Date of Call: 07-12-2007 Time of Call: 04:19 hours Location: Interstate 84 East 34 Mile Marker, Blooming Grove Township Description: Originally dispatched as a tractor trailer accident with unknown injuries. Within ten minutes additional calls received reporting up to three tractor trailers involved with entrapment and possible fire. 29-1 marked on scene and established the command and requested additional units from Stations 26 and 33. Further sized up of the scene found two of the three tractor trailers severely damaged. Two of the three truck drivers were able to free themselves from the wreckage with the third being heavily entrapped in the tractor that overturned. Crews from Stations 29 and 26 worked to extricate the entrapped driver, who miraculously appeared to be suffering only from minor injuries. Station 25 handled suppression efforts if required. Station 33 along with Greenville FD provided additional equipment and manpower for the extrication effort. MedEvac was requested to fly and land at McDonalds on Route 739. Medic 401 was also on scene. Units Assigned:25 Rescue 1, 25 Engine 1, 25 Tanker 2, 29 Rescue 1, 29 Engine 1 (LZ)Ambulances 297&298. Date of Call: 06-20-2007 Time of Call: 00:51 hours Location: Appaloosa Dr. Hemlock Farms, Blooming Grove Township Description: Possible Structure Fire on original dispatch. Hemlock Farms Public Safety arrived on scene reporting a fully involved structure fire. 29-1 requested additional units from Stations 26 & 33. 01:51 hours 29-1 request Station 23 for manpower to assist at scene. Units Assigned: 29 Ladder, 29 Engine, 29 Rescue 1, Ambulance 297, & Ambulance 298 Mutual Aid: 23 Engine 2, 26 Engine, 26 Rescue, & 33 Rescue (FAST)

Date of Call: 01-23-2007 Time of Call: 08:29 hours Location: Rt. 739 near Laurel Ridge Restaurant Description: Reported as a head on accident with 3 injuries. 25-7 arrived on scene and confirmed the 3 injuries and negative entrapment. 29-1 arrived on scene and upgraded injury count to 5 and requested an additional ambulance from Squad 26. Both vehicles suffered moderate damage to their front ends. A total of four persons were assessed by EMS crews on the scene with two being transported to a local hospital for additional treatment. Rt. 739 was closed for nearly 45 minutes during the incident. PSP Blooming Grove investigated the crash.
